Music is an intricate form of art. As such, it poses logistical challenges. For young artists in Albania, these challenges can become an obstacle, discouraging them to explore their talent and skills.

Although public and private educational institutions provide certain infrastructure, there is a lack of an independent collaborative atmosphere, in which young and emerging artists can work, collaborate and produce together.

If music of high artistic value is supported, it can influence society and generate development opportunities.

In Albania there is a number of young promising artists in the genres of rock, jazz, alternative, and electronic music. They often lack mentoring and facilities such as: rehearsal space, recording equipment, promotional infrastructure, staging etc.

Therefore, to boost creativity among young musicians, the Swiss Cultural Fund in Albania, invites cultural organizations to submit proposals for a music production workshop (MPW), through which a group of young musicians can create and explore their creativity with the support of qualified mentorship and logistics.
